Currently, there are no universities in Nunavut. However, the province boasts of only one college, the only post-secondary institution in the province, Nunavut Article College. 

The college offers a small number of degrees in conjunction with Dalhousie University for Nunavut Nursing Program. It also partners with the University of Regina for Nunavut Teacher Education. 

It recently partnered with the University of Prince Edward Island for the Master of Education in Leadership and Learning program and the Akitsiraq Law Program.
